Interview Day begins in the Radiology Building, located at 846 Service Rd., East Lansing. The Radiology Building is the third building east of the intersection of Service Road and Bogue Street. After parking in Visitor Lot 100, enter the Radiology Building through the main doors on the north side of the building. Interview Day activities begin in the Auditorium, located straight ahead through the atrium.
Access the Radiology Building by entering through the main Visitor Lot #100 parking gate on Service Road. The Office of Admissions staff will give you a parking validation slip at check in. No validation is required for drop-offs with a maximum time limit of 30 minutes or less.
Capital Region International Airport (LAN) is the closest airport to the College of Human Medicine (approximately 10 miles)
Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW) (approximately 85 miles)
Gerald R. Ford International Airport in Grand Rapids (GRR) (approximately 67 miles)
Bishop International Airport Authority in Flint (FNT) (approximately 45 miles)
Another option is to take Amtrak directly to East Lansing.
If you are flying into Detroit Metro Airport rather than Lansing Capitol City Airport, you may want to take the Michigan Flyer to East Lansing. The Michigan Flyer provides service from Detroit Metro to East Lansing for $50 round trip. Visit their website for details and the schedule.
There are numerous taxi options that service the MSU campus and surrounding East Lansing/Lansing communities. Visitors with an UBER account will find the mobile-app-based transportation network in East Lansing as well. Before making arrangements with any transportation service, check with your hotel to see if they offer complimentary shuttle service from the Capital Region International Airport.
On-campus accommodations for those attending Interview Day in East Lansing are available. Owen Hall offers single rooms with shared bathrooms and include amenities such as linens, television, microwave, small refrigerator and air-conditioning. The rate is $50/night and requires a minimum of three nights. Please note that if only one or two nights are needed, a three-night charge will still be required. This option is first come, first serve. Meals are not included but can be purchased separately through Culinary Services.

Being a Big Ten University, Michigan State University has an abundance of additional accommodation options near the main campus, which includes the Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center at Michigan State University. Other lodging options are certainly available in East Lansing and the Greater Lansing area. In general, prices range depending on proximity. Use a travel search engine for a detailed list.
